Tribute to Coach Adam Morris for his dedication of 30 years  to TWYFL. THANK YOU COACH!

Updated 8/19/10
  • TW Major White played another very strong defensive game allowing only 1 first down.  Casey Coll scored on (2) 60 yard runs with a great effort by our O-line.  Layne Lucas scored our last touchdown on a 5 yard reception thrown by Peyton Jeter.  Player of the game could have been given to the entire offensive and defensive line.  A great game by a great line. Austin Staton was named Subway Player of the Game.

  • The TW Green machine continued their winning ways by pushing their record to 2-0 with a solid defensive effort by the fast and physical players.  The Green machine was led on defense with a solid effort by Jaiden Owens and Nick White on the defensive line.  Bryce Plichta and Logan Coffey-Lumpkin kept the dolphins inside and infront of them all night.  The green machine saw many players flying around the field including Hunter Diagostino, Tony Kahl, and Owen Vandivier.  The green machine was able to move the ball on the ground and in the air with a solid pass and catch effort from Nick Rabe to Conner Milbourne, and shifty move from Matt Wilson. Playmaker of the Game - Bryce Plichta (Bryce made several key plays throughout the game, but sealed the deal with an interception!)

For many of you that are new to our football league--there to be NO PARKING by the school bus lot on the west side of the football field at any time this season.  I know this is inconvenient for many, we are playing on borrowed ground and the school corporation has been kind enough to allow our program to continue using these fields, please make sure you are not the reason it is taken from the kids.

Parking is only permitted in the middle school parking lot--once you exit your car and walk to our practice facility please stay off the soccer fields--there is a strip of land between the middle school football field and the high school soccer field that we are permitted to use.
TWYFL would like to thank, Hendricks Power Cooperative for all the support and help with power ran to the concession building, and new scoreboard. We appreciate everything they have done for our league this year, and the past several years.
A special thank you to Amy Watson!

Hoosiers win 14 to 8 over Gators.
  • The game started off with the Gators first play from scrimmage going for a touchdown.  They got the extra point and went up 8-0.  The Hoosiers then took over and drove the field and got a touchdown by Mason Loviscek.  But the Hoosiers were unable to get the extra point.  Defense then stepped up for both teams and went into halftime with the score 8-6.  The Hoosiers then took most of the third quarter to score the go ahead touchdown by Jake Rumsey.  He then scored on the two point convertion.  The Gators got down to the Hoosiers 5 yard line as time was running out but could not punch it in.  Hoosiers then took over with a minute thirty left and ran the clock out for the win.  Both teams played a hard fought game and the fans were great for both sides.   Player of the game Jake Rumsey of the Hoosiers

  • For the second week in a row the Buckeyes came out running and throwing by defeating the Irish 31-0.  Five different Buckeyes carried the ball with Kai Ross (2), Cais Garnett (1), Gavin Lengacher (1) and Ashton Garnett (1) all earning touchdowns.  Kai Ross went 3-4 throwing the ball with one touchdown.  The Bucks scored every time they got the ball.  The defense was stiff by only allowing four first downs all game long.  The D was led by Michael Carter, Cody Pilcha, Dylan Ping, Jonathon Linson and Caleb Anderson.  Michael Carter was awarded the player of the game by displaying his great defensive line play.  The Bucks look forward to three weeks off before playing the evil Florida Gators.  Go Bucks!!!
